Merriconeag’s Race to Nowhere

December 5, 2010

As I surf the internet I found a documentary film presented by Merriconeag Waldorf School but unfortunately all tickets are sold so what I’m doing here is to find a little bit information about the said movie that can feed my appetite of curiosity. As Vicky Abeles aims her camera at the high angle stakes that conquer the lives of students in Merriconeag Waldorf School.

Yes, it is “Race to Nowhere” that took point for silent epidemic in their schools such as they believed that cheating has become commonplace, more student are disengaged; depression are rampant and many young people arrive at college and their career unprepared. Everyone must see this film, for those will share their stake in the future of education.

This film is appropriate not only for individual but also for parent groups, faculties, student groups, student organization, media and civic groups. Below is a trailer that can describe what this film all about and why you must watch it. Especially for those parents who want to ensure the future of their child.
