High School At Merriconeag Waldorf School
November 30, 2010Waldorf high school believes that adolescents are knights in the long journey of trials and a long to find the truth in the world they live and inner selves. That is why they need an environment that will help them make sense of the fundamental life questions they are asking in order to face these questions. Who am I, and who do I want to become? Who are my companions? How can we make a difference in the world?
They believe that is why Waldorf high school provides such an environment for the students who have grown up in Waldorf schools, the high school years offer the full of learning with the previously planted seeds. They will develop as nourish first graders from imaginative high school students rely upon when they explore into more complicated tales like Hamlet, Gilgamesh, Odysseus and Faust. With just simple drawings that second graders practice transform into explorations regarding the infinite nature of eleventh grade projective geometry.
For the students, they find Waldorf Education as a community of teachers dedicated with their students. They can easily meet the needs of the emerging individuality in every young person. It composed of teachers that make a sense to stimulate in their students livelier thinking, at once objective and imaginative thinking bound with enthusiasm for learning and capable of inspiring in every important action in his life.
