Therapy for Autism
March 9, 2010
There are lots of children are suffering in autism that is why many people asking if autism is can be heal. The answer is yes. Through the gfcf diet, chelation and other therapies some children suffering from autism can recover. I conduct a research for autism. As my project goes by I find wealth information at my finger tips about the disorder. Books on those who have recovered their children, books on an autism diet, books on supplements and books on bio medical jargon where I used to research. And the easiest way that can heal autism is toys.
Toys can help people facing the unique challenges of autism to find some relaxation and fun. Fidget toys provide a unique experience with different textures. Some toys with sound or repetitive actions are relaxing and comforting.
There are also toys that can help the patience to develop his motor skills, fine motor skills, and coordination. Find the toys that best fits your needs; because some people with Autism can be sensitive to sensory input, careful is needed in selecting a toy for your autistic patient.
Luckily in Los Angeles they offer Occupational Therapy addresses an individual’s daily activity independence through the use of occupation. Occupational Therapists (OT) utilizes play in children, which is their main occupation. OT analyzes the child’s behavior and response to different aspects of play and its meaning to the child. Through play, a child may be able to functionally perform basic living skills such as eating, dressing, grooming, bathing and social interactions.
